Oxytocin is a voracious plunderer /
A brain eating amoeba / made of only fuzzy feelings
and unending need /
A parasite fungus / turning us into zombies /
blindly bending to others whims /
Just for a taste /
It fills us until we burst / spreading spores of mutated
love amongst the masses / no one ever quite
loves the same / each spore takes hold /
Morphs and shifts to the minds it eats /
Suddenly love / becomes a fate worse than death /
I cannot die for love / will not lose myself to
the parasite of forgetting reality / I do not wish
for Oxytocin to be my enemy / to eat me alive /
From the inside out / for I cannot love / if who
I am is lost /
